Course Overview: A more advanced course to cater for the professional skipper working on small commercial vessels or alternatively for the private owner wishing to extend their knowledge

The aim of the course is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience of diesel engines to meet the requirements of the MCA Code of Practice for the Safety of Small Commercial Motor and Sailing Vessels. This course is run at a dedicated training centre where the emphasis is getting hands on with a wide range of real working diesel engines.
Who Should Attend?
Those involved in the manning of small private or commercial motor/sailing vessels operated for personal, training or charter activities, who wish to improve their knowledge of marine diesel engines and related systems.
