Duration: 5 Days Previous Experience Required: None Course Overview: A more advanced course to cater for the professional skipper working on small commercial vessels or alternatively for the private owner wishing to extend their knowledge Costs: £550
The aim of the course is to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience of diesel engines to meet the requirements of the MCA Code of Practice for the Safety of Small Commercial Motor and Sailing Vessels. This course is run at a dedicated training centre where the emphasis is getting hands on with a wide range of real working diesel engines. Who Should Attend? Those involved in the manning of small private or commercial motor/sailing vessels operated for personal, training or charter activities, who wish to improve their knowledge of marine diesel engines and related systems.
