MCA STCW Basic Safety Training Week

This training includes all of the components for you to complete the Basic Safety Training. This training is the foundation upon which all other STCW training is built and is now required to be held by virtually all crew joining superyachts. Together with your RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore or Yachtmaster Ocean Certificate of Competence you will be able to get an STCW endorsement from the RYA. This is becoming increasingly in demand by foreign authorities for commercial skippers of craft of all sizes. 
This training is also one of the prerequisites for holders of a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore or Ocean looking to work towards the MCA STCW Master of Yachts 200 Tonnes (OOW 500 tonnes).
