This course is aimed at the complete novice who would like to try sailing for the first time before signing up to a Day Skipper Course or something similar. The weekend is run by friendly instructors who understand you may be apprehensive. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment and we are sure you will not want to leave at the end of the course.

Your instructor will guide you through the safety procedures and make sure you are comfortable and at ease aboard your yacht before you set sail. He or she will show you all the basics and will be there to support you at every stage, but by the end of your first weekend aboard you will have accomplished so much. You will be able to steer a yacht, handle rope work, sail a basic course and be aware of safety onboard. You may find you're a natural and hooked for life.

This course is ideal as a gift experience and like all our courses we can provide a gift voucher.
