Hamble School of Yachting is once again sponsoring the RYA Sail Cruise. This year one of our boat owners is participating in the event and we have two spaces available onboard. If you have ever wanted to be part of a rally but don't have a yacht this could be the opportunity you are looking for. The boat that is entering the cruise is Chill Factor. She is a Dufour 365 which can sleep 8 in 3 cabins plus the saloon area.
Itinerary for the cruise
Sunday 6th June 0900h Join the yacht at Hamble School of Yachting
Sail round to the start of the RYA Sail Cruise reception for 1600h at Royal Clarence Marina for welcome reception at 1830h, evening meal included.
Monday 7th June 0500h Sail from Royal Clarence Marine to Cherbourg
Arrive Cherbourg 2100h (local time) Option to meet in the Yacht Club bar, where the RYA team will be if arrival times permit
Tuesday 8th June Free day in Cherbourg
1630h Pontoon Party - weather permitting 1730h (local time)
Wednesday 9th June 0530h Sail from Cherbourg to Guernsey
Arrive Victoria Marina St Peter Port 1300h
Thursday 10th June Free day in St Peter Port
1800h drinks reception at Guernsey Yacht Club
Friday 11th June 0700h Sail from Guernsey to Alderney
Arrive Braye Harbour 1030h
1830h Farewell Gathering ashore
Saturday 12th June 0500h boat departs Alderney
Arrive back at Hamble School of Yachting 1900h
You are more than welcome to stay onboard Saturday evening and then leave the boat Sunday morning.
