Our motor cruising courses are run in conjunction with Mendez Marine who's principal Jon Mendez used to be the Chief Cruising Instructor for the RYA. As well as being an RYA examiner for both sail and power Jon has written several popular books and DVD’s on the subject of motor cruising. All practical courses are held on a 32ft.Swedish Storebro wheelhouse motor cruiser. It is equipped to the highest MCA commercial standards, and has the latest Raymarine plotter, radar and AIS. The vessel is powered by twin 200HP motors. Courses are run with a maximum of three students so you have plenty of hands on helming. Accommodation is split into 3 singles so there is privacy for all.
